I’m a creative leader, writer and maker who blends startup ingenuity with deep creative expertise and operational know-how. I have 20 years of experience working primarily in New York, Chicago and now the San Francisco Bay Area.

I spent a long time in agencies, several years on the brand side, and two years at a venture-backed startup. The VC experience was some of the most rewarding work of my life. It was also an experience that almost killed me.

Through it all, I’ve found that I love leading creative teams just as much as doing the work. Whether partnering with clients and founders or getting hands-on developing ideas, writing and making things, I love bringing brands to life in ways people can see, experience and interact with.
